Our unique set of services and knowledgeable staff is what distinguishes us from the big box stores. All of our annuals and perennials are grown right inside our own greenhouses or by other local growers. During the spring and summer seasons we carry a colossal assortment of color busting annuals and low maintenance and convenient perennials. We carry all the products you’ll need to plant and maintain your lawn and exterior gardens. Some of the products we carry include an assortment of gardening tools, natural pest and animal repellents, lawn control products, fertilizers as well as garden accessories and decorations. We also carry a vast assortment of pottery including terra cotta, ceramic, clay, plastic and metal. If you’re searching for window boxes we have a wide selection of wrought iron and plastic options. If you can’t find what you’re looking for we will be more than happy to order exactly what heart desires from one of our wholesalers.
Custom Container Gardens
Our container garden experts are always ready for a new challenge! We provide a number of different services when it comes to helping you create the perfect container garden for your home. If you are a DIYer our staff can help you pick out the flowers and soil that will keep your garden looking happy and healthy all season long. If you are a little more hands off we will be happy to pick up the containers from your home, clean them, plant them and then deliver and place them right back where they belong. We do all the work and you get all the credit! We want your house to be the envy of the neighborhood!
Back in 1924, George W. Radebaugh established Radebaugh’s Florist & Greenhouses at its present location in Towson, Maryland just north of Baltimore. The initial purchase of fifty “cold sash” provided the means to produce the first crop of garden plants and in 1928, the first two greenhouses were constructed for growing cut flowers and plants. The flower shop was built in Towson in 1940 and served as not only a retail florist store, but also as a home for the Radebaugh family until 1973. The florist product line was expanded in the seventies, to include not only fresh flowers, but also silk flowers, green plants, blooming plants, giftware and fruit baskets. A 48,000 square foot greenhouse was constructed on a farm in northern Baltimore county in 1985. This facility allowed us to satisfy the demand for potted green and flowering plants for our own retail greenhouse as well as our wholesale customers throughout Towson, Baltimore and beyond. Radebaugh Florist and Greenhouses continued to have a growing number of flower, plant and gift deliveries throughout the greater Baltimore metro area and in 1988, a 10,000 square foot flower design center was built and continues to house a flower design area, delivery facilities and plenty of refrigeration space for flowers for our daily and holiday season demand.
